Job summary

Parsons seeks an Electronics Technician to support the FAA under the TSSC-5 contract. The role covers installation, testing, repair, and preventive maintenance of NAS electronic systems, with field work across the U.S.

and travel up to 100%. The technician works under limited supervision, reads schematics, uses test equipment, and coordinates with senior technicians and FAA counterparts to ensure safe, reliable operation of navigation, communications, and surveillance systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• May require repetitive movement and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Background check by federal authorities will be performed.
• Must be able to travel up to 100% within the USA.
• Experience with basic analog and digital electronics and RF fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, relocation, and removal of electronic systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems at unit/board/module level.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Assist with power-up, alignment, and functional testing of systems.
• Document maintenance logs and test results; provide as-built information.
