The Electrician Maintenance role installs, inspects, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical systems across treatment plants, pump stations, and distribution sites to ensure safe, reliable operation. Work is Monday through Friday with travel between service areas near North Coralina.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED; completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
• Journeyman Electrician license or ability to obtain within required period.
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical safety practices.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including MCCs, VFDs, generators, lighting, and control panels.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at water and wastewater facilities.
• Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing instruments and schematics.
• Install and maintain instrumentation and control wiring for SCADA, sensors, telemetry, and alarms.
• Read and update electrical drawings, schematics, and ladder logic diagrams.
• Respond to emergency callouts to restore service.
• Follow safety procedures and NEC/OSHA regulations.
• Coordinate work with operations staff and engineers.
• Maintain CMMS records.
• Assist commissioning of new equipment.
