Job summary

Chinchor Electric, Inc. in Florida is seeking experienced Water & Wastewater Treatment Electricians to install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems at treatment facilities. The role requires working out of town nights occasionally and a minimum of 3 years in the field.

Candidates should read blueprints, follow NEC and lockout/tagout standards, and be able to operate SCADA and control panels. We offer paid training, generous benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years electrical experience, preferably in water/wastewater facilities.
• Proficient reading of blueprints, one-line diagrams and control schematics.
• Experience with SCADA systems, VFDs, motors and MCCs.
• Knowledge of NEC requirements and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems with standard test equipment.
• Ability to work safely in active industrial water/wastewater environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in water and wastewater facilities.
• Terminate conduit, wiring, feeders, and electrical equipment for treatment processes.
• Diagnose electrical and control system issues and restore operation.
• Inspect systems for hazards, defects, and code compliance.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to support plant operations.
• Follow safety procedures and site-specific safety standards.
