Job summary

The Nexus Water Group is hiring a Field Tech II to maintain and repair water and wastewater systems, test meters, and support meter reading operations in service areas around Longwood, FL. This role requires daily travel, on-call rotation, and strong physical stamina.

You will work with a team to ensure accurate meter readings, perform maintenance tasks, and assist in plant and distribution system upkeep while following safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum one year water meter reading experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repair on water/sewer lines and mains.
• Maintains and tests water meters and installs new meters.
• Maintains records and documents field activities in CC&B.
• Responds to customer inquiries and coordinates with customer service.
