Job summary

ERock is seeking an Electrical Technician to perform maintenance on generators, switchgear, and 24V control cabinets. The role involves heavy field work outdoors with an average of 75% travel and reporting to the Reliability Program Manager.

Requirements include 3+ years in electrical maintenance, generator theory, and proficiency with electrical schematics. A valid driver’s license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience, preferably with generators or 24V controls.
• Strong knowledge of generator theory, AC/DC circuit theory, protection relays, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Proficient in office software and field data logging on mobile tools.
• Must have valid driver’s license and pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical maintenance on generators, switchgear, and control cabinets.
• Troubleshoot 3‑phase power systems and generator controls.
• Diagnose faults in electrical panels and motor controllers.
• Coordinate with mechanical teams for component swaps and repairs.
• Log work orders and time in mobile apps; follow safety procedures.
