Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing, LLC seeks a skilled technician to lead and perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and startup of low and medium voltage equipment.

Work both in the field and in a shop, with local, regional, and national travel; international travel preferred. Responsibilities include coordinating projects, testing cables, transformers, switchgear, relays, and breakers, and keeping detailed documentation while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical experience or an associate/bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Valid/active U.S. work authorization.
• NETA / NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and manuals, and interpret wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead, and support multiple projects onsite and in-house, ensuring complete job documentation from receipt to invoice.
• Perform testing of LV/MV cables, transformers, switchgear, relays, breakers, and related equipment.
• Maintain cost controls by eliminating wasteful practices and implementing checks.
• Rotate on-call duties and respond promptly to customer emergencies.
• Promote continuous improvement and teamwork on projects.
