Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking an Electrical QA/QC Technician for mission‑critical construction projects in the Kansas City area, including data centers. The role focuses on field inspections, quality and safety, working with field crews to ensure installations meet NEC and project standards.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical construction experience and NEC knowledge, with the ability to read drawings and review test results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical construction experience, preferably commercial/industrial.
• Strong knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical installations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Understanding of electrical testing procedures and ability to review test results.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work with field teams.
• Comfortable working on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical installations throughout all phases of construction to ensure quality and code compliance.
• Review electrical drawings, blueprints, one-line diagrams, schematics, and project specifications.
• Identify installation deficiencies and work with field crews to resolve issues before rework.
• Verify installations meet NEC requirements and project standards.
• Assist with electrical testing, including continuity testing and reviewing results.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports, quality documentation, and corrective action records.
• Collaborate with electricians, foremen, project managers, engineers, and contractors.
• Support final inspections, system readiness, commissioning, and turnover.
