MOHR Talent is hiring a QA/QC Electrical Technician in Independence, MO, for an in-person, field-based role with a salary range of $60,000–$90,000 per year. You will protect data center and high-performance facility builds by catching problems early and ensuring compliance with NEC and client standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting installations across the full construction lifecycle, reviewing tests, preparing QA/QC reports, and coordinating actions with field crews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and NEC requirements.
• Ability to read electrical plans, one-lines, control wiring diagrams, schematics, shop drawings, and submittals.
• Ability to review testing procedures and interpret test results.

• Verify work against drawings, specifications, NEC, and client standards.
• Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions with field crews.
• Assist with and review electrical testing, including continuity testing, and confirm results meet project requirements.
• Verify installation quality before systems are energized and turned over.
• Prepare detailed QA/QC reports covering findings, corrective actions, and project progress.
• Work closely with foremen, project managers, engineers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Help field teams hold production schedules without sacrificing quality.

A well established and growing electrical contractor known for large-scale mission-critical projects is hiring a QA/QC Technician to join a team that cares about their people.
