Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5-7 years in a heavy industrial environment; Maintenance training is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment such as Belt Conveyors, Ball Mills and Kilns is helpful; must understand machinery and have strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance engineer in developing preventive, predictive and autonomous maintenance plans.
• Inspect equipment, write work requests for defects, and suggest repairs.
• Ensure inspection, lubrication, cleaning and parts changing tasks are completed to prevent deterioration or shutdowns.
• Provide technical support and follow-up to major maintenance jobs.
• Collaborate with maintenance engineer to improve procedures and reliability.
