Job summary
Buzzi Unicem USA is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead the reliability, maintenance, and optimization of the plant's electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. You will oversee high-voltage distribution, critical equipment, and automation projects to maximize production efficiency and safety compliance.
The role requires 7–10 years in electrical maintenance within heavy manufacturing, with proven leadership and knowledge of PLC/SCADA, NFPA 70E, and MSHA/OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of electrical maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing.
- Proven leadership in maintenance teams and reliability programs.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA/MSHA, NFPA 70E, lockout/tagout.
Responsibilities
- Oversee plant maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Lead safety initiatives and maintain compliance with regulations.
- Manage maintenance budgets and outages; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Drive RCA and reliability improvements to enhance plant performance.
