Job summary

Hyundai Engineering America seeks an experienced Electrical Construction Engineer to inspect ETF installations, review drawings, and monitor field quality per NEC and project specs. You will coordinate permits and resolve field issues to ensure safe, compliant project execution.

Responsibilities include planning ETF projects, reviewing take-offs and subcontractor quotes, and maintaining project records while collaborating with contractors and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Telecom, Fire Alarm Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of ETF engineering or similar experience.
• Knowledge of subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
• Experience with construction documentation, submittals, drawings, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Support ETF construction project planning, coordination, and execution.
• Prepare and review quantity take-offs, subcontractor quotations, unit pricing, and documents.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Conduct quality control inspections for electrical materials and installations.
• Support permitting activities and coordinate with authorities as required.
• Ensure compliance with ETF standards, codes, and safety regulations.
