Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking an experienced In-Field EHS Consultant to provide on-site safety leadership across construction, industrial, manufacturing, energy, and technology projects nationwide. You will partner with project teams, craft professionals, contractors, and owners to promote a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

5+ years of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience across construction, industrial, or similar project environments.
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance programs.
Experience conducting field audits, inspections, safety observations, and corrective actions.
Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, craft personnel, subcontractors, and clients.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily field safety observations, inspections, and audits.
Identify hazards and implement corrective actions with project teams.
Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and site safety requirements.
Lead incidents investigations and root-cause analyses as needed.
Prepare safety reports for clients and stakeholders; lead toolbox talks and training.
