Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an Aftermarket Services EHS Coordinator to oversee the job site safety program for TAS Field Service and Commissioning Teams across multiple sites. The role requires extensive travel and a strong field presence to promote a proactive safety culture and safe execution of aftermarket services.

The position reports to the Senior Vice President – Aftermarket Services with dotted line to TAS Corporate EHS Director and involves collaboration with client safety teams to

Responsibilities

• Develop an EHS program for TAS project commissioning and service sites
• Travel to job sites with Field Engineer mobilization to align safety plans with client teams
• Resolve conflicts regarding adherence to safety standards with client and contractor EHS teams
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Implement TAS and client safety programs at commissioning and service sites
• Conduct audits and risk assessments across all active sites
• Collaborate with lead engineers to identify hazards and implement solutions
• Ensure site personnel are trained on the site's JSA program and review JSAs regularly
• Maintain safety training records for site personnel and contractors
• Facilitate periodic safety training for jobsite personnel including subcontractors
• Investigate and document incidents and conduct site visits to review incidents and action plans
• Maintain running safety reports including observations, near misses, and violations and review monthly
• Build and train the EHS team to support growth and concurrent sites
• Drive continuous improvement in safety performance and culture
• Participate in client meetings as needed at each site
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by TAS
