Job summary

Plains All American is seeking an Intermediate E&I Technician to support field operations across tank farms and pump stations in Midland, TX. The role involves installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems with direction from experienced tradespeople.

This is a field-based position in open environments with extreme heat/cold and potential exposure to high voltage and chemicals. Requires 2+ years of relevant experience and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of relevant work experience at the prior level.
Ability to read electrical drawings, maps and schematics and perform calculations.
Experience with high voltage systems and safety practices.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Perform instrumentation and preventive maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
Inspect and service control devices (flow, temperature, pressure, level).
Maintain calibration equipment and resolve abnormal conditions.
Work with meters and documentation in accordance with regulations.
Coordinate with contractors and respond to emergencies.
Contribute to PM programs and safety checks.
