Job summary

Plains is seeking an Intermediate E&I Technician to support electrical and instrumentation tasks across field sites, including tank farms and pump stations. The role emphasizes installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a related trades apprenticeship is preferred.
• Minimum two years of relevant field experience in E&I or related plant operations.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and operate basic measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform instrumentation and preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Calibrate equipment, service control devices, and maintain meters and switchgear.
• Respond to emergency events and support safety and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and teammates in field locations such as tank farms and pump stations.
