Job summary

Wood is seeking a Field E&I Designer to join its OGNE team in the Midland, TX area and field locations. This role focuses on brownfield surface facilities retrofits, expansions, and debottlenecking within the Electrical & Instrumentation discipline. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Occasional overnight travel may be required. As an E&I Designer, you will produce facility designs and layouts with knowledge of structural, mechanical, controls, and electrical

Qualifications

• Experience designing facility electrical and instrumentation layouts.
• Ability to create purchasing/construction-level drawings.
• Willingness to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Produce facility designs and layouts for E&I.
• Perform design tasks for purchasing and construction-level drawings.
• Create reliable CAD models with precision.
• Develop and improve department practices and standards.
• Conduct design reviews and travel to job sites as required.
