Job summary

W-Industries in Texas seeks an Instrumentation & Electrical Designer to develop construction drawings, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and cable schedules for industrial projects. You will perform field surveys and support brownfield and greenfield efforts under senior designers.

Qualifications include an associate degree, 5–10 years in industrial E&I design, AutoCAD proficiency, and knowledge of power distribution and control systems. Valid driver's license and site credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting or related field preferred.
• 5–10 years of electrical and instrumentation design experience in industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with experience developing E&I construction drawings.
• Knowledge of industrial power distribution, motor controls, grounding, lighting, conduit and cable tray routing, instrumentation, control systems, and material takeoffs.
• Experience performing field surveys and supporting brownfield projects preferred.
• Current TWIC card, OSHA 10/30, AutoCAD certification, NCCER certification, or equivalent training preferred.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain required client site credentials.
