Job summary

W-Industries of Texas, LLC is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Designer to develop electrical and instrumentation design deliverables for industrial projects under the direction of a Lead Designer or Engineer.

This role focuses on creating construction drawings, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, conduit and cable tray layouts, cable schedules, and material takeoffs, while performing field surveys and supporting brownfield and greenfield efforts to ensure

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of electrical and instrumentation design experience in industrial facilities.
• Experience with E&I construction drawings and layouts.
• Current certifications or training preferred (TWIC, OSHA 10/30, NCCER, AutoCAD cert).

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical and instrumentation design deliverables under supervision.
• Develop construction drawings, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and cable schedules.
• Perform field surveys and support brownfield and greenfield projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure code-compliant designs for industrial facilities.
