Job summary

Wood PLC is seeking a Field E&I Designer in the Midland, TX area to support brownfield surface facilities retrofits and debottlenecking projects in the Electrical & Instrumentation discipline.

You will produce facility designs, develop CAD models, and ensure drawings meet project standards while coordinating with the project team; occasional overnight travel is required, with no per diem or relocation provided.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of engineering design experience in electrical and instrumentation design.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Produce facility designs and layouts for electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Create reliable CAD models with BOMs.
• Review scope documents to ensure design meets SOW.
• Perform design tasks for purchasing and construction level drawings.
• Travel to COMPANY job sites as required.
