Job summary

Wood is seeking a Field E&I Designer to join our team in the Greeley, CO area. The role focuses on supporting brownfield surface facilities retrofits, expansions, and debottlenecking projects in the Electrical & Instrumentation discipline. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, and occasional overnight travel may be required.

Northern Colorado candidates are strongly preferred, as no per diem or relocation is available. You must have field experience to qualify.

• Must have field experience on Brownfield projects.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Produce facility designs and layouts with knowledge of structural, mechanical, controls, and electrical equipment systems.
• Perform design tasks for purchasing and construction-level drawings.
• Create reliable CAD models and develop department standards.
• Travel to job sites as required.

Wood is recruiting for a Field E&I Designer to join our team in the Greeley, CO area. This role will focus on supporting brownfield surface facilities retrofits, expansions, and debottlenecking projects in the Electrical & Instrumentation discipline. As an E&I Designer, you will be responsible for producing facility designs and layouts with knowledge of structural, mechanical, controls, and electrical equipment systems. You will perform design tasks for purchasing and construction-level drawings, create reliable CAD models with precision, and develop and improve department practices/standards. Your role will involve conducting design reviews and traveling to job sites as required.
