Job summary

Velociti Services is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead large-scale janitorial and floor care operations in the Phoenix area. You will oversee service delivery, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction across multiple sites.

The role requires hands-on leadership, coaching of supervisors and frontline staff, and strong collaboration with HR and talent teams to optimize staffing and workforce planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial janitorial services, facilities management, or related fields.
• Experience managing large-scale facility operations with sizable hourly workforces.
• Strong background in floor care programs and specialty cleaning services is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead managers, supervisors, and frontline teams.
• Experience managing client relationships within a contracted services environment.
• Solid understanding of labor management, scheduling, QA, safety practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance while developing teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on leadership within a fast-paced facility environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for janitorial and floor care operations.
• Oversee daily service execution, ensuring quality standards and contractual requirements are met.
• Lead supervisors, managers, and frontline associates through coaching and performance management.
• Conduct regular reviews, inspections, and quality audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and service delivery.
• Develop and execute action plans to address performance gaps.
• Lead cleaning programs including floor care and specialty projects.
• Ensure teams are trained and equipped to follow proper procedures and safety practices.
• Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR on staffing and workforce planning.
• Prepare future leaders and serve as the client’s operational partner.
