Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a capable construction project coordinator to support project managers in planning, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration for owner’s representative assignments.

You’ll perform field work, coordinate asbestos removal projects, and maintain documentation, reports, and client communications to keep projects on schedule and within budget. This role requires hands-on oversight on small projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering (civil) or Construction Management, Environmental Science, or equivalent degree.
• 1-2 years of construction project management experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project or Primavera

Responsibilities

• Support the work of project managers and senior project managers in planning, budgeting, scheduling and contract administration in owner’s representative assignments.
• Provide project coordination, field work, and quality control during construction or abatement phases and prepare bidding documents, plans and specs for asbestos removal projects and perform asbestos surveys.
• Be responsible for written correspondence and record keeping for projects and client communications for progress reporting, coordination and contract administration.
• Report to project managers about project issues and solve problems and liaise with project lead and other project managers to maintain schedule and budget.
• Function as project manager on small projects, working independently under guidance of a Senior Project Manager and supervise subcontractors and staff.
• Oversee budget tracking and invoice review and help ensure project goals are achievable and assign duties to staff as needed.
• Review project implementation, gather data on execution, and coordinate with project managers and leads after execution.
• Provide oversight and quality control during abatement phase and air monitoring as needed.
• Prepare project schedules, cost reports, specifications, and drawings and supervise drafting of project documents.
• Market services and prepare proposals for new business opportunities; stay updated on industry tech and procedures.
• Onsite at client site; work location is onsite with clients and partners to enable delivery and build relationships.
