Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. in Milford, CT is seeking a Project Manager experienced with Commercial Electrical jobs to lead day-to-day project management for projects ranging from $300K to $4M.

You will assist in estimating for smaller projects and change orders, and help hit schedule and budget targets. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on, field-savvy approach, strong leadership, and proven ability to coordinate with foremen, clients, and vendors across CT.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management in the commercial electrical industry.
• E-2 electrical license in CT preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Estimating experience preferred, especially change orders.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with project coordination and scheduling.
• Familiarity with McCormick estimating software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects across the state of Connecticut.
• Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• Attend weekly job meetings and visit job sites regularly (company vehicle provided).
• Handle small project and change order estimating using McCormick software.
• Review scope, schedule, materials, labor needs, and change requests.
• Maintain constant communication with the Head of Construction and ensure updates are tracked and communicated clearly.
• Uphold safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance on job sites.
• Deliver jobs on time, within budget, and with minimal errors.
