Job summary

Froehling & Robertson, Inc. is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Field Technician to travel to construction sites and perform basic soil and concrete tests under supervision. You will input data on smartphones/tablets and support project managers with field observations.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• CDL Class B required; Class A preferred or obtainable after employment.
• 2+ years of drilling experience.
• Willing to travel overnight up to 65%+.

Responsibilities

• Perform site recons, drilling, and field investigations at construction sites.
• Oversee and mentor driller helpers on job sites.
• Log borehole locations with GPS and document related worksite data.
• Maintain safety and quality standards and follow project specifications.
• Input timesheets and expenses electronically.
