American Family Insurance is seeking a Sales District Leader for the Twin Cities Metro (Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN). This remote, field-focused role will support independent agency owners, coaching them on profit and growth while aligning district activities with corporate strategy.

You will spend about 70% of time in the field with agents and staff, with occasional travel to offices for meetings and trainings. Salary range: $113,000 to $194,000 plus relocation support where eligible.

Qualifications

• Experience leading district sales teams and coaching agency owners.
• Strong understanding of agency business models and owner rights.
• Proven ability to translate corporate strategy into local actions.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Licensing requirements: Property & Casualty, Life and Health (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Support agency business owners as independent contractors.
• Coach and advise on sales results and state sales plans.
• Assist owners in understanding district profit and business operations.
• Manage district programs for independent agency owners.
• Help owners prioritize sales activities and opportunities.
• Provide business expertise to support agency operations.
• Source and select agency owners for openings.
• Build relationships with owners and staff.
