Job summary

Ampirical Solutions LLC seeks a Field Distribution Specialist II to design electric distribution layouts, prepare detailed construction packages, and coordinate with field crews. You will apply engineering standards, safety regulations, and DOT guidelines to deliver precise design work.

The role requires 3+ years in electric distribution design, GIS/AutoCAD expertise, and familiarity with Futura staking software. Strong collaboration and documentation skills are essential for project success.

Qualifications

3+ years of electric distribution design or related utility experience.
Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and design/drafting software; experience with Futura staking software preferred.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering technology, drafting/design, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience accepted.

Responsibilities

Develop electric distribution layouts in accordance with company standards and engineering specifications.
Create detailed construction packages with drawings and material specs.
Provide support in developing pole replacement designs under supervision of senior staff.
Collaborate with internal teams and field crews to clarify design intent and resolve issues.
Ensure designs comply with safety regulations and NESC/RUS guidelines.
