The role requires U.S. citizenship, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a FEMA badge. Strong organization, communication, and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a FEMA Badge (background investigation for a Public Trust).

Responsibilities

• Collects, coordinates and/or reviews applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments.
• Supports communication with applicants about status by scheduling meetings and following up with FEMA requests.
• Coordinates document transmittal through FEMA resources and schedules site inspections.
• Supports the claims process by reviewing damage details and costs with applicants.
• May coordinate and complete basic to moderately complex site inspections to validate damage.
• Ensures background checks and drives license requirements where applicable.
