Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform skilled field maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and scheduled maintenance on plugging equipment across Appalachian Basin sites. You will diagnose issues, replace parts, maintain logs, and ensure safety compliance and DOT regulations.

Requirements include a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and proven experience with heavy equipment and plugging rigs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proven experience maintaining plugging rigs and heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols for heavy equipment and plugging operations.
• Ability to travel to field sites and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper functioning of trucks, trailers, service rigs, and construction equipment via routine maintenance and diagnosing/repairing mechanical issues.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as brakes, transmissions, and fuel systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs and work orders.
• Order and stock maintenance and repair parts as needed.
• Adhere to all company safety practices, environmental and regulatory standards and DOT guidelines.
• Handle emergency callouts as needed.
• Ensure active and open communication with field operations.
• Perform other duties including assisting with non-plugging or special projects as directed.
