Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience or an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program
• 1+ years of successfully completing tasks with limited supervision
• Clean driving record
• Must have own tools
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certification
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with occasional overnights and perform 50%+ work offsite/in the field
• Ability to work flexible/on-call hours
• Keen attention to detail, high initiative, and ability to work independently
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components; provide field service as directed by the Service Manager
• Documentation and Communication: Communicate findings, repair needs, and timelines with owners, operators, and service team; complete work orders and service documentation accurately
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: Participate in ongoing training; recommend maintenance or upgrades to add value for customers
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work
