Syngenta Crop Protection’s Heartland Crop Protection Field Development Intern in Ames, IA, is a hands‑on internship working with R&D Scientists on field, greenhouse, and laboratory projects. You’ll gain data collection experience, develop professional skills, and participate in cross‑functional activities within Syngenta’s Emerging Talent Program.

Current enrollment in Agriculture, Biological Sciences, or related field is required, with graduation date after December 2027.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Agriculture, Biological Sciences, or closely related field.
• Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors and outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Support field development trialing activities: planting, treatment application, maintenance, data capture and summarization.
• Collaborate with local Syngenta commercial teams (Sales, Agronomy Services).
• Deliver a final internship project summary to stakeholders.
