Syngenta Heartland Crop Protection Field Development Internship in Champaign, IL offers hands-on experience alongside R&D scientists in field, greenhouse, or lab settings, developing technical and leadership skills. You will shadow projects, contribute to data collection, and complete an internship project under guidance.

Youll present a final summary to stakeholders and gain exposure to cross-functional teams and day-to-day crop protection development activities that shape real-world solutions.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an Associate's, Bachelor's, or advanced degree program in Agriculture, Biological Sciences, or related field.
Continued enrollment after internship concludes (graduation date of December 2027 or later).
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Ability to work outdoors and outside normal working hours.

Responsibilities

Assist with field development trial activities: planting, treatment application, maintenance, in-field data capture.
Summarize data and host field tours; support collaboration with local Syngenta sales and agronomy teams.
Learn processes to develop products and technologies; manage internship project under supervision.
