You will deploy, tow, inspect, and maintain portable generator equipment, travel 20-30% including overnight trips, and work with a safety-focused team to ensure readiness and timely power restoration.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and a hands-on problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently after training.
• Open availability and flexibility to support emergency response operations.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in changing field environments.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20-30%, including overnight travel during emergency events.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• Ability to tow trailers or complete company-provided training.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deploying, positioning, retrieving, and supporting portable generator equipment at customer sites.
• Responding to emergency outages, storms, wildfires, PSPS activations, and disaster recovery situations.
• Driving company vehicles and towing generators and trailers to assigned locations.
• Performing equipment inspections, readiness checks, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Maintaining accurate deployment, inspection, fuel, and service records.
• Supporting yard operations, equipment staging, and inventory movement when not deployed.
