Job summary

Magna International's New Mobility group seeks a Deployment Engineer to lead on-site deployment and support of autonomous mobile robotics (AMR) solutions across North America. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot the AMR system at customer sites and collaborate with Pre-Sales, Solution Engineering, product development, and operations teams.

The role requires hands-on problem-solving, ability to work with minimal supervision, and travel up to 50%+.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in robotics or related field.
Minimum two years of relevant experience.
Experience with AMRs/AGVs preferred.
Experience in customer-facing roles.
Ability to read and develop technical documentation.
Willingness to travel up to 50%+ across North America.

Responsibilities

Performs installations at Magna sites and works with site leads to unblock issues.
Analyze and resolve technical issues and validate deployment milestones.
Provide training and presentations of technical details to other teams and customers.
Troubleshoot routers and wireless networks and ensure security of network assets.
Provide customer-facing first line support and escalate as needed.
Provide updates to engineering and operations teams on status.
