Job summary

Magna International's New Mobility group seeks a Deployment Engineer to deploy and support autonomous mobile robotics solutions across North America. You will install, troubleshoot, and train teams, collaborating with product development and operations to meet milestones.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in robotics or related field, has AMR experience, and can use Python or Linux for automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in robotics or related field or equivalent certifications/experience.
Experience preferred in robotics, automotive, or automation industries.
Experience in customer-facing roles and reporting onsite activities.
Ability to read and develop technical documentation and process instructions.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform installations at Magna sites and work with site leads to resolve issues.
Analyze, resolve technical issues and validate deployment milestones.
Provide training and presentations to teams on technical details.
Troubleshoot routers and wireless networks; ensure security across assets.
Provide customer-facing first-line support and escalate as needed.
Communicate updates to engineering and operations teams.
