Requires four years of related work experience, relevant courses, passport, driver's license, ability to travel up to 70%, deployment readiness, and U.S. citizenship with CAC/Base Access.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Four years of directly related work experience.
• Complete the Basic Engineer Program Mechanics Course, or equivalent.
• Complete the Engineer Equipment Chief Course, or equivalent.
• Must maintain a valid passport and a valid State Driver's License.
• Travel up to 70% of the time.
• Deployable within 72 hours.
• U.S. Citizen; CAC and Base Access eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform high level preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy construction equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and training to lower level mechanics.
• Perform other tasks as reasonably assigned.
