Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. is seeking Field Data Technicians to support outdoor data collection for electric and telecom facilities across the Massachusetts area. This role involves hiking between poles, recording measurements, and capturing data for engineering teams.

Travel is routine, with overnight stays as needed, and weekly pay with a competitive hourly rate. Ideal candidates are comfortable outdoors, physically fit, and reliable with GPS maps and basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outdoor environment to collect field data supporting engineering and design of fiber optic facilities.
• Submit organized data for each project including maps, field notes and digital images.
• Operate and maintain equipment (tablet, camera, measuring tools, PPE).
• Represent Osmose professionally in the field and with the customer.
• Communicate daily with the project management team.
• Work safely with minimal supervision and travel as required.
