Job summary

Ohio Water Environment Association is seeking an I&I Information Technician to lead data collection, review and entry from private property and to guide contractors and property owners. The role may support field crews as needed.

It entails reliable delivery of utility services and a prompt response to emergency repairs outside of normal hours, as part of sanitary sewer I&I operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid class B CDL with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Minimum of three years of experience in Underground Utilities or related field.
• Proficient in computers, networks and related equipment.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal, written and organizational skills.
• Ohio EPA Class I Collection license within 18 months of hire.
• NASSCO PACP, MACP and LACP certification within 18 months of hire.
• Maintain residency as required by the City.

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection, review and entry from private property and provide guidance to contractors and property owners.
• May assist a field crew in performing tasks as directed.
• Ensure reliable delivery of utility services and respond promptly to emergency repairs outside normal hours.
