Job summary

CTL Engineering, Inc. invites qualified Engineering Technicians and Construction Inspectors to join its Construction Administration/Construction Inspection division.

Roles span water/wastewater plants and water main projects across the Ashtabula and surrounding Northeast Ohio region, with mentoring and potential growth opportunities. Position focuses on field testing, site inspections, and reporting, with company-provided or reimbursed vehicle options and a typical Mon-Fri day schedule;

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering, construction, testing and inspection principles is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of materials testing and standard observation methods is a plus.
• Ability to perform quality control initiatives and field testing.

Responsibilities

• Performs construction engineering technician and inspection services for W/WW plant projects and water main installations.
• Tests, inspects, and reports on concrete pours, rebar placement, and other building materials.
• Inspects construction works to ensure contractor compliance with state specs and project documents.
• Notifies Contractor or Project Engineer of non-conforming work.
• Maintains project records and prepares reports.
