Job summary

The City of Sidney, Ohio is seeking an I&I Information Technician in the Sanitary Sewer Infiltration and Inflow department. The mid-level role leads data collection from private property, reviews and enters data, and guides contractors and property owners.

Occasional field crew support and after-hours emergency response may be required. Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or GED, a Class B CDL with tanker endorsement or the ability to obtain it within six months, and 3+ years in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class B with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 3 years in Underground Utilities or related field.
• Proficient with computers, networks, and related equipment.
• Strong Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong verbal, written and organizational skills.
• Ohio EPA Class I Collection license within 18 months of hire.
• NASSCO PACP, MACP and LACP certification within 18 months of hire.
• Residency as required by City.

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection, review and entry from private property.
• Provide guidance and assistance to contractors and property owners.
• Assist a crew in field work as directed.
• Respond promptly to emergency repairs outside normal hours.
