The Sanitary Sewer Infiltration and Inflow department (I&I) is tasked with cleaning, televising and evaluating the City’s sanitary system; performing rehabilitation of the sanitary sewer infrastructure, administering the Private Property I&I Reduction Program, monitoring the work of contractors, performing operation and maintenance of the sanitary sewer infrastructure. The I&I Information Technician is a mid-level position and serves as the lead person for collecting, reviewing and entering data from private property and providing guidance and assistance to contractors and property owners. The I&I Information Technician may, as directed, be assigned to assist a crew in the performance of field work. As a public employee this position is responsible for providing reliable delivery of utility services. This position requires consistent and prompt response to emergency repairs that occur outside of normal working hours.
