Job summary

Communication Technology Services (CTS) is seeking a Data Collections Specialist to support nationwide deployments. The role focuses on benchmark and post-deployment data collection, basic troubleshooting, and collaboration with the National System Performance Engineering (SPE) team.

Travel up to 75% is required, with extensive field experience at remote project sites. Entry-level or junior in CTS Engineering, paired with a System Performance Engineer to accelerate skill growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in a technical or field-based role; RF, wireless, or networking coursework is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel extensively (up to 75% or more).

Responsibilities

• Conduct benchmark walk data collections using SeeHawk Touch platform.
• Perform post-deployment data collections for validation and commissioning.
• Execute data collection activities to verify system performance against design requirements.
• Work with National SPE team during commissioning and field activities.
• Maintain and care for data collection equipment and kits; submit travel requests and timesheets on time.
• Assist in identifying anomalies in data KPIs, DAS alarms, and RF measurements.
