Job summary

Project Resources Group, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Cable & Telecom Damage Specialist in the Houston, TX area to collect, analyze, and document evidence related to third-party utility damages, determine liability, and support clients with precise, professional results.

The role requires on-site assessments, interviews at damage sites, professional photography, and collaboration with contractors, the client’s locate company, and the Claims Recovery team to drive timely case resolution.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle for work travel.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site assessments of underground and aerial cable plant damages.
• Conduct interviews at damage sites with contractors, technicians, witnesses, and others.
• Professionally photograph and document damaged scenes to accurately portray liability.
• Collaborate with the client’s locate company and exchange relevant damage information.
• Analyze and review evidence related to third-party utility damage to determine liable party.
• Learn and apply State Dig Laws, excavator requirements, and NESC standards.
• Develop professional working relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Assist in obtaining and writing up job repair costs from damages.
• Compile case materials and email to local handling office.
• Support Claims Recovery with follow-up actions after damage site reviews.
• Develop monthly market reporting and lead client meetings.
