Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a seasoned leader to champion Inclusive and Respectful Workplace (IRW) initiatives on a New York project. You will drive culture, wellness, and workforce engagement on site, collaborating with project leadership, crew leaders, and HR to embed culture into every phase of mobilization and execution.

You will walk the talk on the jobsite, building trusted relationships with workers and trade representatives, while establishing measurable KPIs and sustained

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field of study.
• Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish), a plus.
• Experience with various construction project sizes.
• Strong passion for creating best possible worker experiences.
• Display interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Active listening skills, able to ask clarifying questions, learn and process information quickly.
• Knowledge of project jobsite logistics and planning associated with project progression.
• Demonstrate management and leadership skills with ability to operate independently.
• Advanced project management skills with ability to drive results and accountability.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Process and analytical skills to make decisions and address conflicts.
• Experience defining metrics, conducting gap analysis, and anticipating risks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, promote, and maintain IRW Plan with actionable measures.
• Establish IRW at project start and align with trade contractors.
• Integrate workplace culture into key project meetings.
• Partner with project leadership to integrate workforce culture considerations.
• Serve as visible culture presence on site and engage workers.
• Assess team dynamics and workforce interactions to strengthen collaboration.
• Identify and coordinate wellness activities and project events.
• Create communication strategy to distribute culture information and feedback loops.
• Define, measure progress, and report KPIs for inclusiveness.
• Promote awareness of employee feedback programs and actions.
