Join Our Team as a Field Crew Laborer at Omaha Track, Inc.

Omaha Track is an innovative supplier of products and services to the railroad industry, committed to excellence, quality, and value. We focus on growth and improvement across Materials, Railroad Services, Equipment, and Terminal Services. Currently expanding in the Rocky Mountain, Central Midwest, Great Lakes, and Central Southwest regions, we seek dependable and motivated Field Crew Laborers residing in these areas to join our growing Field Operations team.

We prioritize safety, teamwork, and professionalism. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for career advancement. The starting hourly rate is $18, with regular overtime. The role involves up to 24 days of travel per month, with travel, lodging, and a tax-free daily per diem of $45 paid by the company. The rotation schedule generally consists of three weeks out and one week at home.

Your responsibilities include outdoor work such as removing ties or track, pulling spikes, shoveling rock ballast, and handling equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, assisting with heavier equipment like grapple trucks. You will support railroad and steel divisions by preparing rails for pickup and safely handling railroad ties.

Requirements

• Ability to work overtime and weekends in all weather conditions
