Position Overview

Due to MSG's growth, we are seeking a Field Crew Chief to support our Survey projects across Ohio & Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead a one or two-person field crew.
2. Operate Robotic Total Stations, GPS, and data collectors.
3. Perform and oversee fieldwork for topographic, boundary, roadway, and ALTA Surveys.
4. Conduct property legal research online and at County offices.
5. Manage data collector files.
6. Ensure accuracy and completeness of field files and notes.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience with the following is a plus, but not required:

1. Processing surveys using AutoCAD/Civil 3D or OpenRoads Designer.
2. Preparing construction staking materials, including point files.
3. Support for obtaining a Professional Surveyor license in Ohio; MSG offers assistance for professional growth.

Preferred Skills

1. Knowledge of Trimble Robotic Total Stations and GNSS data collection.
2. Experience with AutoCAD or Civil3D.
3. Willingness to travel frequently based on project needs.
