Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Technician for field inspections of landfill and gas projects, based in Mesa, AZ. The role emphasizes daily site inspections, documentation, and coordination with contractors to ensure design and safety standards are met.

The position offers extensive field exposure, heavy travel, and a structured path for growth into a higher level engineering technician role, with a comprehensive benefits package and potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of technician experience in landfill gas CQA or liner CQA, or similar field work.
• Experience on active construction sites or engineering field work.
• Ability to read and mark up drawings and plans.
• HAZWOPER 40-hour certification or ability to obtain it if required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections at landfills and construction sites to verify project requirements.
• Provide oversight and inspection support for landfill gas systems and construction activities.
• Perform CQA activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Document field conditions and system performance with reports and photos.
• Coordinate with contractors to resolve field issues and maintain progress.
• Prepare daily logs and field reports using templates.
