Qualifications

• Initial screening requires a Bachelor's degree or an Associate's with two years of relevant work experience.
• Alternate paths include 60 college credits plus two years of relevant work experience or 90 credits plus one year.

Responsibilities

• Responds quickly in crisis situations involving children.
• Conducts investigations to determine abuse/neglect and assess risk.
• Interviews families, caregivers, and reporters and documents findings.
• Maintains thorough documentation and reports to enforcement and court partners.
• Travel may be up to 85% and field work occurs in homes, schools, and community locations.
