Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
• Alternative: Associate's + 2 years of protective services-related work.
• Substantial coursework or credits may substitute for degree per criteria.
• Relevant work experience in social, human, or protective services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly in crisis situations involving children.
• Conduct forensic investigations to determine abuse or neglect.
• Interview family members, caregivers, and professionals.
• Assess child safety and take actions to protect the child.
• Document information and complete required forms timely.
• Travel across the state and work in mobile environments.
