Job summary

FlexTG in Rome, GA is seeking an Experienced Service Technician to maintain and repair copier and printer equipment within a designated territory, focusing on responsive service and customer satisfaction.

You will diagnose hardware, software, and basic network issues, perform installations, and manage parts inventory while building strong customer relationships and supporting sales opportunities. This is a field-based role with daily travel to customer locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum age 21.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Basic networking knowledge (print drivers, connectivity troubleshooting).
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair copiers and printers with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network-related issues.
• Install and configure equipment, including scanning in peer-to-peer environments.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize device uptime.
• Manage parts inventory and supplies according to company standards.
• Maintain an organized service vehicle, tools, and schedule.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Support sales teams by identifying potential upgrade or replacement opportunities.
• Ensure a professional appearance and excellent customer experience at all times.
