Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. seeks a Field Coordinator to lead field operations across Tampa projects. You will guide field teams, support hiring, and drive performance with a focus on client satisfaction and profitability.

You will train staff in estimating, scheduling, and construction management, ensuring cost control and timely project closures for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and client-service orientation is essential.
  • Experience coordinating field operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop field teams, ensuring accountability for performance.
  • Assist VP of Field Operations in hiring and staff development.
  • Train team in estimating, scheduling, and construction techniques.
  • Prepare monthly reports on project status for the VP of Field Operations.
  • Ensure proper cost control and bottom-line profitability on each project.
  • Coordinate with project teams and maintain client communications.
  • Manage subcontractor approvals and payments, and close out projects effectively.
  • Stay current on industry developments and convey them to the team.

## Field CoordinatorApplyremote type: Hybridlocations: Tampa: Atlantatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R-102011**Job Description:**The Field Coordinator is responsible for all activities that occur or fail to occur with regard to projects or personnel assigned to his/her team/region. Works with VP of Construction, Field Teams, and Project Teams.**Some things you can expect to do:*** Ensure team members understand what is expected of them and hold them accountable for performance, provide regular feedback and have development conversations, delegate appropriate tasks and provide timely and meaningful recognition.* Assist Vice President of Field Operations in hiring new staff members. (Hiring of new employees will be discussed at Field Coordinator meetings.)* Train team members in proper estimating, scheduling, and construction management techniques.* Assist Vice President of Field Operations in employee evaluation process and make recommendations regarding compensation for team members.* Terminate (layoff or firing) team members when appropriate. Termination issues will be discussed at Field Coordinator meetings. Any termination shall have the direct involvement and approval of the Vice President of Field Operations.* Significant participation in presentations to prospective clients.* Participate in past and continuing client contact program.* Assist project management in project proposal stage with scheduling and budgeting.* Assure that every project has someone assigned to it with “bottom line” responsibility for the project.* Review all estimates generated within the team for completeness and competitiveness.* Assure that all team members are using the appropriate “Ryan Tools” and that its use is consistent with the methods used throughout the construction department.* Achieve maximum profit on each project in a means that is consistent with Ryan’s long term interests.* Assure that proper cost control techniques are used on all projects.* Assure that proper communication and documentation procedures are adhered to on all projects.* Assure that projects are closed out properly and that punchlist work is completed in a timely manner.* Assure that accounts payable and accounts receivable are kept current on all projects assigned to them.* Assist project team members in approval and monitoring of subcontractors.* Further develop and train subordinates on new and existing computer programs.* Stay current on regional union issues and review and approve project labor agreements.* Prepare monthly reports to the Vice President of Field Operations on the status of all projects assigned to them.* Actively participate in periodic Field Manager/ Field Coordinator meetings and support decisions made at these meetings.* Work on special projects pertaining to the division as a whole.* Assist the Vice President of Field Operations in project and personnel assignments and workload monitoring.* Assist Vice President of Field Operations in accomplishing field operation “Action Plans”* Remain current with new developments in the construction industry in general and communicate them to team members.**Eligibility:**Position requires verification of employment to work in the U.S.**Benefits:*** Competitive Salary* Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits* Retirement and Savings Benefits* Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts* Life Insurance* Short-Term and Long-Term Disability* Educational Assistance* Paid Time Off (PTO)* Employee Assistance and Wellness Programs* Parenting Benefits* Employee Discount Programs* Pet insurance* Ryan Foundation – charitable matching funds* Paid Time for Volunteer Events*Disclaimer: Eligibility may vary based on factors such as role, hours worked, employment status, length of service, location, and other considerations.
